Teagan Golunski Named AL’s Best Player

The manager of the San Diego Padres said he thinks Teagan Golunski is only going to get better as he gets older.

He may only be 24, but it will be hard to top the second baseman’s 2035 campaign, as he has been named the winner of the American League Most Valuable Player Award.

His winning campaign featured a .307 batting average and a .363 on-base percentage this year. In 151 games he piled up 186 hits, 35 doubles, 9 triples, 25 home runs, 117 RBIs and 94 runs scored.

Wander Samuel Franco of the Cleveland Guardians finished second in voting, while Caleb Ramos of the Montreal Expos finished third.
