Jimmy Harrold said his Miami Marlins simply weren’t ready for the season to come to an end.
“We told ourselves we were winning this series no matter what,” he said, shortly after being named the League Championship Series MVP, following a 6-2 win at Rosland Capital Stadium that officially eliminated the Tampa Bay Rays, 4-2.
Harrold said his team is “confident and ready” for the World Series.
The World Series matchups and schedule will be announced after the League Championship Series finishes.
