The Miami Marlins were simply overmatched by the Oakland Athletics in the Divisional Series.
The end result was a sweep, as Oakland has cruised to the League Championship Series, with the final win coming at Marlins Park by a score of 3-2.
“We’re clicking and running on all cylinders at the moment,” said Sam Davis, who was named MVP of the Divisional Series. “We’re a dangerous team when we play like this.”
For the series, Davis hit .400 with a .400 on-base percentage. He had 2 home runs, drove in 4 RBI and scored 2 runs.
