Cubs Win Divisional Series

The championship aspirations of the Chicago Cubs are still alive and well, while the Baltimore Orioles are left to wait until next year.

Chicago won the clinching game of the Divisional Series 8-5 over Baltimore at Wrigley Field, to win the series 4-2.

“You feel like a little kid again, celebrating something like this,” said center fielder Rogelio Ontiveros, who paced the Chicago offense and was named series MVP. “We take everything real seriously when we’re on the field, but after a series is over you can finally relax a little bit.”

Ontiveros claimed the MVP by racking up 8 hits for a .348 average, with a .333 on-base percentage. He had 1 home runs, 8 RBI and scored 5 runs.

The League Championship Series matchups and schedule will be announced after the Divisional Series finishes.
