Fans at Target Field saw the League Championship Series come to a close today, as the Baltimore Orioles defeated the Minnesota Twins by a score of 4-3, and advanced to the World Series.
Baltimore won the series 4-1 and will now continue their march toward the World Series.
“It feels good to be moving on, I can’t deny it,” said first baseman Ben Schwent, who was named series MVP. “Not everyone thought we’d make it this far.”
The Baltimore Orioles will play against the Boston Red Sox in the next round. Boston won their series against the Montreal Expos 4 games to 0. The World Series is scheduled to begin on October 29th , 2032.
