The Baltimore Orioles are riding high after knocking off the Minnesota Twins in the League Championship Series.
“We’re feeling confident now and that’s half the battle,” said Jeremy Shelton, who was named series MVP. “You play confidently, you play well and it shows up with results like this.”
Baltimore won the final game by a 8-6 count at Oriole Park at Camden Yards and the series 4-1.
For the series, Shelton hit .409 with a .458 on-base percentage. He had 2 home runs, drove in 8 RBI and scored 5 runs.
The Baltimore Orioles don’t know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Montreal Expos – Colorado Rockies series. Colorado leads the series 3 games to 1. The World Series is scheduled to begin on October 30th , 2031.
