Celebrating a playoff clinch never gets old, according to Edwin Diaz of the Washington Nationals.
“I could do this each and every year,” the closer said as he celebrated his team officially having clinched a playoff spot. “It’s why we play the game – to get to the playoffs and have a chance to become Round 4 champions.”
The National League East Division club has a record of 91-55 and will be seeking the franchise’s 1st Major League Baseball championship.
