More Woes for Marlins Triston McKenzie

Things have gotten worse for Triston McKenzie of the Miami Marlins. The 31-year-old reliever will not be back as soon as originally expected. McKenzie is undergoing treatment for bone chips in his elbow, but his doctors have expanded his recovery time to at least 3 months. An unidentified team official told BNN, “Triston tried to rush his rehab and suffered a setback.”

Triston McKenzie is expected to undergo surgery in Miami(Florida) tomorrow.

McKenzie‘s record this year is 3-and-0 with no saves and a 3.82 ERA. He has given up 34 hits in 35.1 innings with 36 strikeouts.
