Major League Baseball fans were certainly not disappointed with this National League Divisional Series.
The two teams were evenly matched and the series went to the final game, with the Miami Marlins prevailing over the Atlanta Braves to advance to the League Championship Series.
Miami won the final game by a score of 5-4 at SunTrust Park and that sealed the series 4-3.
“Things were tense in our clubhouse and dugout before and during this game, but we can let loose a bit now — the hard work is over, for now,” said right fielder Gregorio Huerta, who earned MVP honors.
For the series, Huerta hit .333 with a .400 on-base percentage. He had 3 home runs, 7 RBI and scored 4 runs.
