The Mets and Pirates confirmed this afternoon that a trade had been agreed upon. In the deal, New York will get 25-year old RF Jimmy Wright, while Pittsburgh will receive 26-year old LHP Phil Tucker.
In 21 starts this season Tucker has registered a 9-2 record and a 2.74 ERA.
Wright is currently batting .241 with 9 home runs and 35 RBIs.
