| Tampa Bay Trades Guerrero for Toronto’s Spriggs Monday, February 11th , 2030 Tampa Bay and Toronto have agreed in principle to a trade. The Rays will send 29-year old 3B Danny Diaz, 23-year old minor league RHP Luis Guerrero, 24-year old minor league 3B Steve Griffin, and 24-year old minor league RHP Tommy Tedesco to the Blue Jays for 26-year old 3B Chris Spriggs. The deal is expected to be finalized shortly and the clubs will be introducing their new players to the press when the paperwork is complete. In 268 career games Spriggs is hitting at a .296 pace with 300 hits with 86 doubles, 2 triples and 32 homers while scoring 145 runs and racking up 134 RBIs. He logged 52 walks and owns a .345 on-base percentage. |
