
Aaron Scott, general manager of the Los Angeles Dodgers, has signed off on a trade for Philadelphia‘s 24-year old RF Dave Giglio and 22-year old minor league RHP Alan Wells. To complete the deal, the Dodgers will send 33-year old LF David Dahl to the Phillies.
So far this season, Dahl has recorded a .247 batting average with 40 hits, 8 home runs, 32 RBIs, 18 runs scored and a .297 OBP.
For the season Giglio is batting .248 with 25 hits and 6 home runs. He has scored 11 times and batted in 11.
Up to now Soroka has compiled an ERA of 2.42 with a 7-0 mark over 11 starts. He has 65 strikeouts in 78 innings and has held opponents to a .239 batting average.
