Sometimes a change of scenery can be a beneficial to a baseball player. That is the hope in Los Angeles and Boston as the teams came to an agreement today which sends 30-year-old C Carson Kelly to the Red Sox and 20-year-old minor league C Brad Albers and 23-year-old RHP Benjamin Wiegman to the Dodgers. “Only time will tell if this is the right move for everyone,” stated the Boston GM.
During his career Kelly has hit for a .246 average and totaled 646 hits, 107 home runs and 357 RBIs.
