Rogelio Aselton of the Tampa Bay Rays impressed voters as one of the elite pitchers in the National League this year. He capped off a sensational 19-6 season by taking home the coveted Cy Young Award today.
Making 35 starts, he tossed 214.1 innings, struck out 287, walked 60 and registered a 3.07 ERA.
Juan Salamanca of the Atlanta Braves finished second in voting, while Jorge Dippold of the Washington Nationals finished third.
