Brown Selected 2039 NL Most Valuable Player Award

It was a very good year for Colorado Rockies center fielder Tim Brown, 2039’s National League Most Valuable Player Award.

Brown hit .317 with a .433 on-base percentage. He had 160 hits in 504 at-bats, including 36 doubles, 11 triples and 35 home runs. Brown drove in 105 runs and scored 120 times in his award-winning season.

Luis Becoat of the Los Angeles Dodgers finished second in voting, while Sam Graves of the Philadelphia Phillies finished third.
