NL Player of the Week, King of Pittsburgh

Pitchers who faced the Pittsburgh Pirates last week were happy to see T.J. King in the rear-view mirror. The 30-year-old left fielder was dubbed the National League Player of the Week for a 6-game tear that saw him hit at a .517 clip.

For the week he also chalked up 15 hits in 29 at-bats, 2 home runs, 4 RBIs and 8 runs scored.

King is batting at a .342 pace this season, picking up 27 hits in 79 at-bats with 2 home runs, 8 RBIs and 9 runs scored.
