Watching Zach Clark getting helped off the field today at Progressive Field, fans of the New York Yankees feared the worst. The news wasn’t quite as bad as initially feared, but the right fielder will miss 3 weeks with a fractured foot. “We feel we’ve dodged a bullet. When you see a guy break down like that, you worry right away,” a team spokesman said. Clark suffered the injury running the bases in the game against the Guardians.
This year Clark has hit at a .283 clip with 63 hits, 10 home runs, 31 RBIs and 38 runs scored.
