The Chicago White Sox announced today that reliever Antonn Mares will not be returning as quickly as expected from injury. “There was a bit of a setback, but nothing to be concerned about,” one team official told reporters. “Antonn will probably miss another 4 days because of this, but everyone expects him to make a full recovery.”
This season in 13 relief appearances Mares has thrown 30 innings and collected no saves. His won-lost record is 0-0 with a 4.80 ERA.
