| Davis and Trout Dealt Monday, June 10th , 2030 Sometimes a change of scenery can be a beneficial to a baseball player. That is the hope in New York and Los Angeles as the teams came to an agreement today which sends 24-year old LHP Ben Duffy, 26-year old 1B Sam Davis, and 27-year old RHP Jaheim Asante to the Angels and 38-year old CF Mike Trout, 27-year old SS Kevin Made, and 33-year old 3B Austin Riley to the Mets. “Only time will tell if this is the right move for everyone,” stated the Los Angeles GM. Los Angeles will retain a portion of Trout’s remaining contract. Los Angeles will retain a portion of Riley’s remaining contract. For the season, Davis is hitting at a .259 clip with 5 home runs, 21 RBIs and has scored 18 runs. He has 38 hits, 14 walks and a .325 on-base percentage. Presently Trout is batting .227 with 47 hits and 5 home runs. He has knocked in 15 runs and scored 33 times. |
