End of an Era: Trout Heads to Queens

Sometimes a change of scenery can be a beneficial to a baseball player. That is the hope in New York and Los Angeles as the teams came to an agreement today which sends 24-year old LHP Ben Duffy, 26-year old 1B Sam Davis, and 27-year old RHP Jaheim Asante to the Angels and 38-year old CF Mike Trout, 27-year old SS Kevin Made, and 33-year old 3B Austin Riley to the Mets. “Only time will tell if this is the right move for everyone,” stated the Los Angeles GM.

For the season, Davis is hitting at a .259 clip with 5 home runs, 21 RBIs and has scored 18 runs. He has 38 hits, 14 walks and a .325 on-base percentage.

Presently Trout is batting .227 with 47 hits and 5 home runs. He has knocked in 15 runs and scored 33 times.
