Texas and Montreal have swapped players. The Rangers announced today that they have sent 25-year old RHP Jimmy Mayberry and 27-year old RHP Shamar Edgehill to the Expos in exchange for 19-year old minor league C Luis Alicea, 19-year old minor league RHP Jeff Griffin, and 20-year old minor league LF Mike Webster.
Texas will retain a portion of Mayberry’s remaining contract.

So far this season, Edgehill has logged a 8-7 record with a 4.00 ERA. He has started 18 games, hurled 105.2 innings and registered 88 strikeouts and 32 walks.
