Siemering Goes Cycling

Oakland Athletics second baseman Josh Siemering had one of the best days of his career today when he hit for the cycle and paved the way for the Athletics 11-4 win over the San Francisco Giants at Oracle Park.

“Everything was just clicking today,” he said.

Siemering shelled the Giants for 4 hits in 6 at-bats, collected 3 runs batted in and scored 2 runs.

Josh Siemering hit a solo-shot off Jorge Cornejo in the 1st, struck out in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, struck out in the 6th, hit an RBI double in the 7th and tripled in the 9th.

This season in 36 games Siemering is batting .338 with 3 home runs, 22 RBIs and has scored 29 times.
