How Sweep It Is! Stars Headed to World Series

The Nashville Stars appear poised to make a serious run at the World Series after a convincing sweep over the Miami Marlins in the League Championship Series.

It’s now on to the World Series for Nashville, who won the final game 4-2 and took the series 4-0.

“Everyone’s doing their part and things are falling into place,” said Nashville third baseman Juan Medina, who was named series MVP. “It feels like a special year.”

For the series, Medina hit .375 with a .444 on-base percentage. He had 3 home runs, drove in 3 RBI and scored 5 runs.

The Nashville Stars don’t know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the New York Mets – Seattle Mariners series. New York leads the series 3 games to 0. The World Series is scheduled to begin on October 27th , 2034.
