Divisional Series Goes the Distance, New York Prevails

New York Mets won a nail-biting series against the Boston Red Sox 4-3, wrapping up the Divisional Series finale 6-1 at Fenway Park.

Mets first baseman Kyle Tucker was named the series MVP.

He batted .414, drove in 3 runs and scored 2 to lead New York into the next round of play.

“Kyle was real solid for us, real solid,” said Mets manager Paul Bako. “I normally say I’d like to have nine of him out there, but thankfully we got by with just one this time.”

The New York Mets will play against the Seattle Mariners in the next round. Seattle won their series against the Montreal Expos 4 games to 2. The League Championship Series is scheduled to begin on October 17th , 2034. .
