A 7-0 triumph at Nationals Park has wrapped up the Divisional Series for the Washington Nationals.
“We’re off to the League Championship Series,” said Nationals left fielder Juan Medina, who was named series MVP after his club eliminated the Minnesota Twins by a series score of 4-2. “You can never take a win in a series like this for granted,” he said.
The Washington Nationals will play against the Oakland Athletics in the next round. Oakland won their series against the Cincinnati Reds 4 games to 2. The League Championship Series is scheduled to begin on October 19th , 2030.
