A 3-2 triumph at Oakland Coliseum has wrapped up the Wild Card Series for the Oakland Athletics.
“We’re off to the Divisional Series,” said Athletics second baseman Ben Walsh, who was named series MVP after his club eliminated the Los Angeles Dodgers by a series score of 4-1. “You can never take a win in a series like this for granted,” he said.
The Oakland Athletics will play against the Cincinnati Reds in the next round. Cincinnati had a bye in the Wild Card Series. The Divisional Series is scheduled to begin on October 11th , 2030.
