The Cleveland Guardians plan to take it slow with second baseman Sam Bianco, knowing that his recovery from a hamstring strain would likely include a few bumps in the road. A team spokesman told BNN, “Sam has up days and down days. It’s still a process. He was feeling really good and then he had a step back. The doctors say it will be about 5 days before he can be activated.”
Bianco is presently hitting at a .300 pace with 1 home run, 15 RBIs and has scored 16 times.
