Medina Crushes Cubs

5 times is the charm — at least for Juan Medina.

The Washington Nationals left fielder tore up the Chicago Cubs to the tune of 5 hits in 5 at-bats at Nationals Park today. The offensive onslaught from Medina powered the Nationals to a 9-6 win.

Medina was a tough out today,” Chicago manager Patrick Anderson said to the press in the postgame interview. “He hit some very good pitches with that quick bat of his. Not an easy out, that’s for sure.”

Juan Medina singled in the 1st, hit an RBI double in the 2nd, singled in the 5th, singled in the 6th and hit an RBI single in the 7th.

So far in 2029 Medina is batting .333 with 1 home run, 9 RBIs and 13 runs scored. He has 34 hits in 102 at-bats and a .397 OBP.
