Didi’s Streak Still Alive

Win or lose, Didi Gregorius just keeps on getting base hits — game after game after game. He picked up 1 more today and has now stretched his hitting streak to 20 games.

The Houston Astros shortstop went 1-for-4 today, but it wasn’t enough to win the game. His club was defeated 5-4 by the Chicago White Sox at Guaranteed Rate Field.

“It’s amazing to watch him hit right now, but I don’t think anybody’s really mentioning it,” one of his teammates said. “We just don’t want to jinx him.”
Didi Gregorius flied out in the 2nd, flied out in the 4th, grounded out in the 7th and doubled in the 9th.

Gregorius is batting .267 with 6 home runs and 22 RBIs this season.
