The Braves and the Tigers finalized a deal this afternoon. Atlanta has traded for 26-year-old 3B Isaac Paredes and in return Detroit will receive 29-year-old minor league LHP Blake Weiman.
So far this season, Weiman has a 0-0 won-lost record with no saves. He has made 7 relief appearances, logged 6.2 innings and fanned 9 batters while fashioning a 4.05 ERA and allowing the opposition a .308 batting average.
So far this year, Paredes is batting .286 with 2 home runs and 10 RBIs.
