Pittsburgh fans were pleased with the signing of Hunter Dozier today. The 32-year-old inked a 4-year, $25,500,000 deal with the Pirates.
Though his numbers don’t jump out at you, Dozier does fill a void for Pittsburgh, according to several respected analysts.
Over his career Dozier is batting .251 with 123 home runs and 434 RBIs. In 847 games he has delivered 782 hits, scored 387 runs, stolen 25 bases and gotten on base at a .323 clip.
