With a 10-2 victory at Angel Stadium of Anaheim, the Los Angeles Angels have completed a sweep of the Houston Astros in the Division Series.
“On to the League Championship Series and feeling good,” said Mike Trout. “I don’t think our guys expected a sweep, but we’ll certainly take it and rest up a bit.”
For the series, Trout hit .500 and won series MVP honors. He had 2 home runs, drove in 2 RBI and scored 4 runs.
The Los Angeles Angels don’t know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Boston Red Sox – Cleveland Indians series. Cleveland leads the series 2 game to 1. The League Championship Series is scheduled to begin on October 14th, 2022.
