10.5 Million Brings Prado to Colorado

Juan Prado might be in the twilight of his career, but he is not going to leave the stage before the final act. Today the 34-year-old scribbled his signature on a $5,250,000-a-year deal with the Rockies.

Some fans openly questioned the signing, saying they would prefer the club use its resources on younger talent.

At 34 years of age, Prado has put up these numbers in his career: 565 appearances, a 50-32 record in 950.1 innings, and 992 strikeouts. He has 17 saves and a career 3.49 ERA.
