White Sox Win Divisional Series

The championship aspirations of the Chicago White Sox are still alive and well, while the Tampa Bay Rays are left to wait until next year.

Chicago won the clinching game of the Divisional Series 4-3 over Tampa Bay at Guaranteed Rate Field, to win the series 4-1.

“You feel like a little kid again, celebrating something like this,” said second baseman Sergio Molano, who paced the Chicago offense and was named series MVP. “We take everything real seriously when we’re on the field, but after a series is over you can finally relax a little bit.”

Molano claimed the MVP by racking up 11 hits for a .458 average, with a .480 on-base percentage. He had 0 home runs, 0 RBI and scored 5 runs.

The League Championship Series matchups and schedule will be announced after the Divisional Series finishes.
