Depending on your loyalties, the Wild Card Series was either thrilling or heartbreaking.
The series went down to its final game, with the Washington Nationals and the Miami Marlins giving their fans plenty of drama. In the end, the Nationals came out on top, winning 6-3 at Fidelity Field today to take the series 2-1.
“We’re lucky to be going into the Divisional Series,” said Washington pitcher Masuhiro Ito. “If all the series are like this, it’ll definitely be an entertaining postseason.”
Ito earned series MVP honors, hitting for a .400 average, with 2 home runs, 3 RBI and 3 runs scored.
