It took a while, but the Montreal Expos finally disposed of the Kansas City Royals 4-3 in the series clincher at ForestGate Energy Centre.
Winning the finale gave the Expos the series, 2-1. They will now advance to the Divisional Series.
The Most Valuable Player Award went to Montreal left fielder Kevin Coria. He batted .400 in the series, collecting 6 RBIs and scoring 3 runs.
