Arizona got some bad news today concerning second baseman Juan Guerrero. He is recovering from a broken collarbone. Club doctors have extended his time of return to one week, saying his injury has not responded well to treatment. It is worse than they first diagnosed.
In his stats this season, Guerrero has posted a batting average of .263 with 131 hits in 499 at-bats, no home runs and 27 RBIs. He has also scored 79 runs, walked 84 times and compiled a .369 OBP.
