Ofir Alexander of the Rays just might have to call it quits for the season. The 26-year-old Tampa Bay reliever received a possible season-ending injury against the San Francisco Giants recently at Rosland Capital Stadium. Alexander suffered a torn rotator cuff while throwing a pitch. The Rays medical staff said he could be out quite some time, as much as 11 months.
