The Seattle Mariners are riding high after knocking off the Montreal Expos in the Divisional Series.
“We’re feeling confident now and that’s half the battle,” said Omari Bive, who was named series MVP. “You play confidently, you play well and it shows up with results like this.”
Seattle won the final game by a 11-2 count at T-Mobile Field and the series 4-2.
For the series, Bive hit .333 with a .481 on-base percentage. He had 4 home runs, drove in 8 RBI and scored 5 runs.
The Seattle Mariners don’t know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Boston Red Sox – New York Mets series. New York leads the series 3 games to 2. The League Championship Series is scheduled to begin on October 17th , 2034.
