Toronto Devastated by Playoff Elimination

The 2034 Toronto Blue Jays season won’t end with a trip to the postseason. The club has fallen short on its bid to make the playoffs, being formally eliminated from qualifying today.

“Disappointing,” team owner Edward S. Rogers III told reporters.

Before this season, the Blue Jays last missed the playoffs in 2032. In the 58 years they have been a Major League Baseball franchise, they have made the playoffs 10 times. In the last 10 seasons, the Blue Jays have missed the playoffs 7 times. Toronto last won the World Series in 1993.
