The road to recovery is going to be a little longer for Cleveland first baseman Jorge Ortega. The team announced today that Ortega suffered a setback in his rehabilitation and will not return to the roster for at least 5 weeks. He is being treated for a fractured foot.
Jorge Ortega is expected to undergo surgery in Cleveland(Ohio) tomorrow.
This season Ortega is batting .305 with 106 hits and 17 home runs. He has scored 46 times and has 59 runs batted in.
