Baltimore Orioles right fielder Tim Rasmusson got another setback today. His doctors informed him that his injury was not responding to treatment as well as they hoped and that he would need more time to rehabilitate. If all goes well, they expect Rasmusson to be ready to go within 2 weeks. He told BNN, “I didn’t expect a strained back muscle to take this long to heal.”
This year Rasmusson has hit at a .295 clip with 43 hits, 1 home run, 14 RBIs and 19 runs scored.
