Starter Bob Thompson was in charge the whole game in the Minnesota Twins victory over the Miami Marlins today. In a superb performance, Thompson blanked Miami 9-0, yielding 1 hit while registering 6 strikeouts and 3 walks.
“That was a fun one,” the 25-year-old said later.
This season Thompson has compiled a 14-6 record with a 4.60 ERA in 29 starts.
