Seattle and Miami made a trade today. In this move, the Mariners shipped 25-year-old RHP Mike Dominguez to the Marlins for 24-year-old minor league SS Raul Campos. The Seattle GM told reporters, “I think this trade is beneficial to everyone involved, including the players.”
Dominguez has made 17 relief appearances this year and notched no saves. To date in 32.1 innings he has a 1-4 record, 8.63 ERA with 35 strikeouts and 21 walks.
