Tucker Takes Home Player of the Week

At the age of 29, Kyle Tucker might have some potential he hasn’t realized yet — if his success at the plate last week is any indication. The Houston left fielder put up some exceptional numbers the past seven days with a .400 batting average. For his efforts Tucker collected the American League Player of the Week Award.

He racked up 10 hits in 25 at-bats, 6 home runs and 11 RBIs last week in 6 games.

Tucker is hitting at a .310 mark this season. His stats show 17 home runs, 43 RBIs and 51 runs scored. He has played 52 games for the Astros.
