Phillies Acquire Aaron Judge

BNN is reporting a rumored trade between the New York Yankees and Philadelphia Phillies has been finalized. The deal, which is expected to be announced sometime during the next few hours, will reportedly send 33-year-old RF Aaron Judge, 20-year-old minor league RHP Edgerin Angrum and 21-year-old minor league 3B Pete Gordon to Philadelphia in return for 21-year-old minor league RHP Jim Berryman, 23-year-old minor league LHP Chris Lyon and 22-year-old minor league CF Zach Clark. The clubs were noncommittal on the trade, but did not deny it.

New York will retain a portion of Judge’s remaining contract.

Looking at his all-time stats, Judge has a lifetime .249 average with 1161 hits, 174 doubles, 13 triples, 336 home runs and 738 RBIs. To date he has scored 838 runs, walked 834 times and stolen 35 bases.
